Class/Self Evaluation

1.I liked this classroom because it's quite and nobody is out of control, another reason i like this class is because we get to use computers and sometimes we get free time. There's nothing really that i don't like in this class its a good classroom with a good teacher.

2.The only suggestion i would like to add in the class is being able tom listen to music when writing a post and there are pros to that because if your listening to music students wont get distracted by other and music helps many people focus more accurately.

3.I wouldn't say i did my best in this class though towards the end like around November i began to realize that i should focus and pay attention in class so i could more things and show other people my skills, so i guess you can say i did kinda try my best though next semester i'll try harder.

4.I am pretty sure i am already a CTR i don't do nothing i am not supposed to do and i always keep away from bad influences are anything that will effect me in a negative way so i assume you can say i am committed to being a CTR student.

IDP summary

Before my presentation i felt a little nervous that i was going to mess up my part but then i began to have a little more faith, eventually we were giving our presentation and i began to feel more confident my part was to speak about the symptoms and cure for prostate cancer, the project helped me to be less afraid of speaking in public and i learned that hard work and teamwork are one of the many important things in a presentation. I got prostate cancer for my disease and learned like all other diseases if you don't take care of yourself your sure to get a virus or disease that can possibly kill you if you don't take care of it.

 I like what mark twain says because it is simple and true always do right and good things will always happen always do bad and bad things will always happen it is that simple. This quote is short but it's words are powerful if you live by these words you will and can achieve anything you desire all you have to do is always do right.

 Stephens quote makes sense if you pay attention to it you probably don't even have to pay attention to it since it's such a simple quote it's basically telling you one of life's moral code if you do what is right all will be good do what is wrong and get punished. An example would be, imagine a man finds a wallet but little does he know the wallet belongs to a Italian mobster which contains a priceless emerald the man picks up his wallet and his conscience comes into play his first though is to keep what would happen if he keeps it well he keeps the money but greed gets in his head he wonders how much would the emerald cost he seeks to sell and professional buyers know the material they work with the buyer identifies the priceless emerald and the Italian mobster finds out the man was feeling lucky and proud but now the mobster killed him, now the second outcome would be he decides not to keep and searches for the owner he hinds the owner mobster has money pays and thanks him that simple now obviously things wouldn't get that dramatic in real life but you get the picture right?

 I agree with former american football coach Lou Holtz because those 3 questions are wise one's i personally think if people were to ask themselves these questions everyday they would push themselves to there fullest but that's if they want to. I think that if your where to ask yourself one of these questions everyday you would and can achieve your goal and possibly even greater. I also like this quote because i can relate to it people do tend to trust me to do what is right and  if people tend to trust for any occasion that is a major responsibility that you should not take advantage of, the second question i can relate to as well i used to push myself but not merely enough the best workout or method to do for any situation is to push yourself to your full potential, and finally the last question is one of the many wise things my mother ever taught me treat people the way you want to be treated now at first when i heard this quote it took me a long time to live by it but eventually if you get in trouble enough times you'll begin to respect and be kind to others.

 I like what Mr.Kennedy's quote says because it is very true if our body is injured or sick our functions are limited keeping a healthy body is extremely important that is why it is never good to do drugs, drink alcohol, or smoke cigarettes. Our body is the most important thing about us with out it we wouldn't be able to do anything let alone live that is why it is extremely important to keep our body's healthy by eating healthy,exercising, drinking water, and many other multiple things. Another reason why i like what Mr.Kennedy says is not much is known of our body and it's true not much is known our body is a masterpiece of artwork which is why it is so complicated to understand.

If i were to travel anywhere in the world the first place would be Italy. Italy is located between southern Europe, Italy borders France, Switzerland, Austria, and Slovenia. Italy is the 3rd largest economy in the euro-zone and the 8th largest economy in the world, It has a very high level of human development. With 61 million inhabitants, Italy is the 5th most populous country in Europe, Italy has the 8th largest economy in the world, The Italian Mafia accounts for 7% of Italy's GDP, Italy is the largest producer of wine in the world, 1/3rd of Italians have never used the internet, more than a 3rd of Italian men between the ages of 30 and 35 live at home with their parents, 51% of Italians can't afford a vacation, Italian traffic police has 2 Lamborghini Gallado's in service, In Italy there is a submerged bronze statue of Jesus Christ 2.5 meters tall, Galileo's middle finger is on display at a museum in Florence, Italy. I selected Italy because when i get older i would like that place to be the first of many places that i go visit, and because there pasta and pizza is organic and i enjoy pasta and pizza a lot, and finally because Italy is home to many geniuses like Galileo, Da Vinci, etc.

 I agree with Joseph because it is strictly true, best thing you can achieve in life is kindness if you look at history majority of all people that did great things were kind like Jesus Christ,John F. Kennedy, King Solomon, etc.

 I think the meaning for this quote can mean two things the first meaning being to do better than what people say for example if someone where to say you'll never achieve nothing in life or your going to do great things when you grow up i think the meaning would be to do better for the negative side to prove them wrong and for the positive side to fulfill and elevate on what they said. the other meaning that i think it would or if it does mean is be responsible for the things people say to you for example if someone was to say about you or to you god has great things for you or your gonna change the world i think the quote would be meaning to fulfill what those people say about you and to not prove them wrong i think that's what it means.

 I like what chick says because it's true its better to be a good sport and except a loss than to be a sore loser and wine continuously, not just in a game either in life if something bad happens get over it was meant to happen everything happens for a reason it might not feel like it but it is so just stop complaining suck it up and move on there's no need to brag or whine no just accept it and move on. I also like this quote because doing something right is better than winning or loosing for example let's say your in a race your in first place and all of a sudden the person behinds you trips now this could go 2 ways you can ignore him continue and win the race while that person is badly injured and you begin to feel guilt or you can help him up end up in 4th place and loose the race but you'll feel like a champ because you did something better than win.    

Oncologist

An Oncologist’s duty or responsibility is to perform wide variety of procedures the ascertain the condition of tissues and to detect cancer. They also collect medical histories and perform physical evaluations like, maintaining records managing the work staff, and coordinate with other medical personal.

An Oncologist makes between the ranges of $222,809 to $351,598.

To become an oncologist you must require an M.D. degree other requirements are to fulfill state licensure requirements; complete residency training programs and subspecialty training programs.

 I wouldn’t like to be an oncologist because the medical area isn’t something that calls to me I would rather help people in another way.-

   I agree with this statement because it is simple and true all you have to do is make the right decision if something is bad then it is bad if something is good then it is good it's that simple simple there's no in between just make the right decision if every one in the world is doing bad then be the one in the world that is doing good don't try to fit in with the world otherwise you'll be a nobody set yourself apart make the right decisions because if you don't you'll have to pay the consequences and not only that if you do bad then you will feel bad if you do good then you'll will feel good.

Electrical Engineering

To become an electrical engineer you must first graduate high school, afterwards you must go to college, then you need to get your bachelor’s degree or higher.

 I would like to become an electrical engineer because people live in an age and now a world where they depend on technology so becoming an electrical engineer and technology that we have now a days would help to create an develop new things.

Veterans Day

Veterans Day is a day we celebrate to honor the veterans that serve our country.

The purpose of Veterans Day Is to show our appreciation to the veterans that protect our country.

It’s important to show honor and appreciation on Veterans Day because they are brave men and women who go to protect our country not everybody has the guts to do that.

Veterans Day is on the 11^th of November it started in 1919 and it was to show appreciation to the men who fought in WW1.

A few ways to show honor on Veterans Day is moment of silence, giving thanks to a veteran, firm handshake, etc.

     

My thoughts on Veterans Day is thankful I am thankful we have troops to protect us for keeping the country safe so no evil will destroy our country. To the veterans I say ‘’Thank You’’.

 I agree with this quote because it's obviously true i mean you can't do bad and feel good unless you are possessed or dark. Doing good is always the right thing to do even if you get made fun of or if nobody else is doing you always have to do good and be good if everyone is doing bad then let them do bad as long as your doing good it's OK. But just because everyone is doing bad doesn't mean that you should let them show them what they are doing wrong and help them you can do a lot of good by helping someone bad do good plus the more people doing good the more bad people will start to see what they are doing is wrong and that they should turn immediately. I guess what i'm trying to say is if there is a lot of good people in the world bad people will see there mistakes and go from bad to good in a heartbeat.

 I agree with Bruce lee says because it has meaning and it's truthful he's kinda saying don't waste your life live it instead of doing dumb things like drugs, alcohol, going to party's do good in school to have a good future because if your doing drugs, alcohol, and partying what's gonna happen when your older partying is gonna give you a good future sure it will give you good memories but why not make even better memories when you have a good job or something like that. I like what Bruce lee says also because if you want to have such a good time be patient otherwise by the time your 30 or something like that you would have already and life would be pointless for you so make the right choices in life don't be dumb be patient, patience is the greatest gift you can achieve.

Detective

A detective has multiple duties and responsibilities, such as investigating a crime scene, secure and obtain a dead body to prevent it from being tampered with, interrogate suspects, etc.

To become a detective you must first graduate and earn a college degree, and you will need to complete the police training academy, afterwards like most detectives you have to start off as an officer first then you’ll begin to rank higher.

A detective gets paid an average of $75,720 every year. They get paid $36.41 an hour; higher ranking detectives get paid $122,290 a year and $39,660 an hour.

 Yes I would like to be a detective because I enjoy cases and I would love to take down the bad guy and I feel as if I would be a very great detective.

 I agree with Peter because it is a good example and it has a good meaning. It's basically saying if you want something badly like if you want to go to college or have a good future don't trow it away for something that is only going to last a day or something like that. Another example would be... put yourself as an adult your a business person and you have to turn in a document to get a promotion you've been wanting for a year, your friends call saying there going to throw an enormous party and that you should go now it's your choice you want to go and have 1 good night or finish your document get a promotion make your job way easier and have multiple better nights that's kind of what this quote is saying if you really think about it.

A health educator’s job is to, provide and manage health education programs that help individuals, families, and their communities maximize and maintain healthy lifestyles. Collect and analyze data to identify community needs prior to planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating programs designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, policies, and environments. May serve as a resource to assist individuals, other healthcare workers, or the community, and may administer fiscal resources for health education programs. A health educator’s salary is $41,830 a year. They get paid $20.11 hourly To become a health a health educator you need a bachelor’s degree. Majority of the employers need a Certified Health Education Specialist credential. I would not like to be a health educator because it is not the field or career I would like to work in nor is it the profession I want.

A healthcare administrator is very important; they help the doctors and nurses and are a big help in the hospital they are kind of like the person running it or making sure everything is going smoothly.

One of the main requirements a healthcare administrator will needs is a master degree in public health or business, hospital, or nursing administration.

 

 I would not like to be a healthcare administrator even though there kind of like the boss because it’s not the area I would like to be in.

I like also like this quote because he's saying you have to be a good example you have to be the mature one if your friend tells you to do something have the courage to tell them that what there doing is wrong because if they cant be the mature friend you have to be the mature friend. (ENT) Specialist

And ENR specialist responsibility is to help patients who are having trouble breathing, hearing, and swallowing majority of the time they help patients with life threatening problems. This field (JOB) is very intense and expensive but is worth it and results in great rewards.

The Salary Of and ENR specialist is $302,500

To become an ENT doctor, you will begin by pursuing the traditional route to and through medical school.  Score well on the MCAT and earn a high undergraduate GPA, especially in the core science courses of biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and physics. Obtain clinical experiences that allow you to shadow an ENT doctor so that you will begin to understand the realities of the profession.  Apply to complete four years of medical school. During the last two years, you can take specialized coursework in otolaryngology, Plan to spend anywhere from 3-5 years in an ENT residency program.  After you’ve completed your residency, which includes a year of surgery training, apply for your state medical license as well as obtain board certification through the American Board of Otolaryngology. 

 Although what and ENT specialist does is great along with any other medical professional I would not like to be a ENT because its not the field I would want to be in.

 I think what this statement means is that when you start being obedient you no longer have any trouble instead of always running into trouble you avoid it. I think obedience is good but it depends what your being obedient to for example, Hitler told many of the Nazis to go and kill many innocent people, people listened and look where that got them but if your being obedient to something good like the bible or your parents then its good as long as your being obedient to the right thing.Being obedient is good also though because you wont run into as much trouble its easier to get through life so its only alright to be disobedient if you know that what your doing is wrong like killing someone or something bad like that.I don't really know what else to say about obedience other than the fact that its good but only if its for the right purpose i mean if your too obedient then basically your a slave to that person or that law.

Dermatologist

A dermatologist is a doctor who specializes in treating the hair, skin, nails and, mucous membrane. Dermatology is a sub field of dermatology that serves individuals with aesthetic concerns. Cosmetic dermatologists provide medical and surgical treatments to people with problems such as bacterial or fungal infections, aging, acne, allergic reactions, unwanted hair, benign skin growths, and uneven skin pigmentation. They need to have completed medical or osteopathy school, hold a medical license to practice, and have completed at least four years of additional training. Many also become board certified as dermatologists.

A dermatologist makes $283,000 a year. Their salary is around $100,000 to $500,000.

To become a dermatologist you must go to college and earn a bachelor’s degree, Go to medical school and become a doctor or a doctor of osteopathic medicine, Then you must internship for one year, and then be in the dermatology residency program for at least 3 years.

 I wouldn’t like to be a dermatologist because it is not the occupation that I want to have.

 I wouldn't like to be an optician because i have no interest in that career.

Educational Requirements:

Only physicians may study to become ophthalmologist. After completing medical school and an internship, an ophthalmologist must then complete a three to five year residency in an approved ophthalmology program. After completing their residency program they must pass an examination to be certified.

Reflection: I don’t think I would want to be an ophthalmologist because I think it would be boring and its not the type of job I would be interested in.

Dentist

I would not like to be a dentist because I wouldn’t like to work with teeth and because I would prefer a career of my own.

Dental Assistant

A dental assistant is a multi-skilled member of the dental health team; there top priority is to help the dentist with anything he/she requires. Dental assistants are responsible for seating patients at the treatment area, passing requested instruments to the dentist during dental procedures, sterilization and preparation of instruments, etc.

A dentist assistant gets paid $16.59 an hour; annually they get paid $34,500.

It takes a relatively short period of time to become a dental assistant. Dental assistants receive their formal education through academic programs at community colleges, vocational schools, technical institutes, universities or dental schools. Graduates of these programs usually receive certificates. Basically the only requirement you need is a post-secondary non degree award.

I wouldn’t like to be a dental assistant because it’s not the career that I want to live I would prefer my another career one of my taste.

Audiologist

An acupuncturist is a complementary health practitioner who takes a holistic approach to the maintenance of health and the management of disease. The focus is on the individual rather than the illness and the aim is to improve the person's overall well being.

Acupuncture is an ancient therapy based on the theory that the body depends on vital energy, known as qi, being in balance. If there is pain or illness, acupuncturists see this as a sign that the body is out of balance. To correct this they insert fine needles into acupuncture points, which restore the flow of qi to then trigger the body's natural healing process.

The correct manipulation of qi can treat a range of emotional and physical conditions, such as:

Muscle-skeletal disorders

Respiratory and circulatory disorders;

Gastrointestinal disorders;

Gynecological disorders;

Neurological and stress-related disorders;

The relief of pain and allergies.

An acupuncturist’s salary is usually around $41,100 to $114,380 but a normal acupuncturist makes $86,720

Acupuncturists are trained in anatomy, physiology, and many other areas of science and medicine. They have comprehensive knowledge about the nervous system (i.e., central nervous system and peripheral nervous system) and the vascular system (i.e., deep vascular system and superficial vascular system) and understand the mechanism of action between insertion of acupuncture needles and the reactions of body tissues and nerves.

Education and training in acupuncture takes several years. Acupuncturists undergo training in a number of different areas, including acupuncture treatment, clinical acupuncture, diagnosis and evaluation, needle placement, stimulation techniques, and sterilization procedures.

In the United States, there are a number of accredited schools that offer education and training programs in acupuncture. These programs usually take about 4 years to complete. After successful completion of an acupuncture program, students are awarded a Master of Science in Acupuncture. A few schools also offer advanced education and training, leading to a doctorate degree in acupuncture. To practice acupuncture in the United States, students must then take and pass a state licensing examination.

I wouldn’t like to be an acupuncturist because It would probably be boring for me I would rather be doing something bigger.

I think obedience is important but i also think that too much of it is bad, for ins tense if your too obedient your basically a slave and we should be slaves to no one except god.Although its good to be obedient majority of the time because we earn respect and its the right thing to do.

September 2001, 9/11

On September 11th two planes struck and destroyed the the twin towers leaving hundreds of people dead. Over 1,480 victims were identified leaving another 1,00 or so victims unidentified. Out of all the New York police department and New York fire department 23 brave officers and 236 courageous firefighters went inside the building to help.

When 9/11 happened i was 9 months old i didn't discover it until i was in 3rd or 5th grade around there, i was upset knowing how many people died imagine that waking up one day not knowing your gonna really really sucks.

I think its sucks what happened on 9/11 it saddens me to know that all those people had families and how many people died that day it also angers me knowing how people could have such cold heart people question why god allows the world to be like this but people don't know that god doesn't make the world like this Satan, sin, and, people do.
